Outreach Ministries
Because Genesis Church is a missional community, we believe that it is essential to be missional. But what does that mean? Basically, we are saying that we believe that church is not a building. Rather, church is a community of everyday people who have responded to the life of Jesus Christ. One of the ways that we respond to Jesus is by going out into our community in order to tell others about the good news. This good news that we share is that Jesus has come to save us from evil and bring us into a relationship with the God of the universe. If you would like to know more, please contact us by clicking here.
We go out as a church family and share the good news regularly. We would love for you to join us.
At Genesis Church we also believe that being missional means meeting people’s physical needs in addition to their spiritual needs. It is for this reason that we canvas the surrounding neighbor
hoods on a regular basis in order to see how we can meet our neighbors’ needs. We use a family needs assessment to determine what physical needs we can meet. A benevolence offering is taken up once a month and goes towards our benevolence fund in order to support our compassion ministries.
If you need assistance, feel free to download our family needs assessment form, fill it out, and email it to prayer@genesischurchag.org.
We also partner with Agape Food Bank in order to pass out food once a month. See the photos from our first distribution below!
